Our Quality Control (QC) team monitors everything, everywhere — ingredients, manufacturing processes, factory equipment, storage and much more — to make sure that SmartBones chews are made, stored and shipped according to FDA standards.

STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES

Our factories are registered with the FDA and follow strict quality control procedures and are state of the art manufacturing facilities. Every surface that comes in contact with SmartBones chews during manufacturing is sanitized several times daily.

QUALITY INGREDIENTS

All raw ingredients are purchased from major suppliers and are tested by our QC team prior to being used in production. The chicken in SmartBones chews is sterilized multiple times during the manufacturing process to prevent bacterial contamination.

BEST MANUFACTURING PRACTICES

All factory workers are uniformed, gloved and hair-netted to prevent contamination at all stages of production. All products are processed at temperatures that kill salmonella bacteria.

EXTENSIVE TESTING

Each location includes a fully equipped, state of the art quality assurance laboratory to ensure quality and safety throughout manufacturing. SmartBones chews are also tested by outside laboratories that follow global standards.
